What is a bang?
A bang is a fan-run event that gives creators the opportunity to work together. They’re a great way to build friendships and community in fandom spaces! Anyone, regardless of experience, is welcome to sign up and join in the fun!
Writers will anonymously submit a short summary of their fic idea, and then artists pick their top choices to draw for. The mods then work behind the scenes to pair everyone up. Summaries and selections are anonymous until teams are announced.What is this bang about?

Some bangs have a specific theme, but this one does not. AU’s, canon-verse, fix-its; anything goes so long as Togachako is the main ship and a primary focus of the story.What type of content is allowed for this event?
This is an 18+, pro-ship/pro-fiction event. From the sweetest SFW to the darkest Dead Dove, any content is allowed so long as it is tagged properly and it’s Togachako.What does pro-ship/pro-fic mean?
Pro-ship is, essentially, ship and let ship. It’s fine to not enjoy a certain ship/content, but we know that other people should be free to create or enjoy it without fear of harassment.
We know that people can create whatever they want, because at the end of the day, it's fiction. As long as content is properly tagged, it's up to individuals to curate their fandom experience.
Being pro-ship/pro-fic means being respectful to your fellow fans, even if they create content you don't personally vibe with. Just be excellent to each other!Ok, all that sounds great! How do I sign up for the bang?
Follow our twitter and/or bluesky accounts, and keep an eye out for when we announce sign ups! You'll fill out the form and join the discord. It is a requirement for all participants to join the discord, as the event will be run and managed through the server.Can I sign up for more than one role in the bang?
In the initial sign up form, you will have to choose either artist or writer. You can also sign up as a pinch hitter, either on its own or in addition to a primary artist or writer role. Once we see how many people are signed up for each role, it’s possible that we’ll be able to offer the opportunity to create both art and a fic.Are we able to pre-pair with a partner?

When writers submit their pitches, there will be a spot to let us know if you've pre-paired with an artist. The mods will reach out to that artist to confirm the pre-pair, and then you'll both be set!Can I create more than one fic/art piece?
It will depend on the amount of sign-ups we get, but there may be some opportunities to create multiple works, such as picking up a pinch hit. Just be mindful of the schedule and your work load! Those check-ins can sneak up real quick!What exactly is a pinch hitter?
Life happens, and sometimes we need to drop out of an event. If that happens, a 'pinch hitter' can fill their spot.If you are a pinch hit writer, depending on where the artist is with their piece, they may decide to come up with something new together with you, or you can create a fic based on what they currently have. You would not be permitted to base anything off the previous writer's summary or fic.Artist pinch hitters work with the original prompt/fic from the writer, but may discuss depicting a different scene than the original artist had planned. (So if, for example, the original artist was going to draw an NSFW scene, the pinch hitter would not be required to draw that same scene.)Pinch hitters will be given extensions on check ins, but will have an overall shorter creation period, so make sure you have the time to tackle the assignment if you choose to be a pinch hitter!
